What is a good quality wrist watch brand? Price matters a little?

movado

I had a movado for the last ten years but finally stopped working and service center of movado said that it would cost over $ 400 to put in a new movement. That's more than half the cost of a new so I decided to buy something different. It is 10 years a life, a long life or about the average for a lack of supervision of this caliber? Gradico the simple look of watches museum movado and don 't want anything too showy. I like to just keep an eye on a good quality less than $ 600 - $ 800 that will last a long time with little or no maintenance. In addition gradico crystals that graffieranno not at all.
