    The movement of quartz has an electronic oscillator that is governed by a quartz crystal to keep time. This crystal oscillator generates a signal with frequency very precise, so that quartz watches are at least an order of magnitude more accurate good mechanical movements. The quartz Swiss quartz has just done this week.
