After having the battery on my chronograph replaced, it would not reset to zero; is the jeweler responsible?

When I did replace the battery in supervision of Movado, the chronograph not restore. When I did replace the battery in supervision of the Festina jeweller different, the chronograph not restore to zero (even if it was very close). Sporto lawsuit to the second jeweller about the problem and said that was the sense that replacing the battery would have prompted the chronograph not recover. I find that odd that I had exactly the same problem with two different watches with two different jewellers. This is ust a coincidence or is there some special care was needed to change a battery of surveillance chronograph?

The change of battery specifically should not cause this, but the repair that should be quite easy. This should work to your Festina and I 'm the guess that the same method would work to your Movado: 1. First extract the top for prendparteere the way of time-regulatory supervision. 2. Then press the button used to "reset" for the chronograph. 3. Every time you press the button, should move the used forward a second. 4. Once indicates zero, rejects the top inside and now your vigilance is restored to zero! I hope that helps!
